The program aims to prepare psychologists to work with people experiencing burnout, chronic stress and emotional exhaustion. The training combines theoretical knowledge, practical methods and supervision of real cases. The goal is for participants to develop skills in diagnosing burnout, working with the nervous system and emotional tension, as well as building recovery and resilience strategies.

The training is conducted in three consecutive levels.
level 1
Basics of working with burnout
Duration: 2 days (weekend form)
The first level is an introduction to the topic of burnout and is intended for psychologists, psychology students and specialists from helping professions.
Main topics
Understanding burnout
We will get acquainted with the main signs of burnout, chronic stress and emotional exhaustion. We will consider how prolonged tension affects the psyche, behavior and physical health.
Psychology of chronic stress
We will examine how constant responsibility, high demands and lack of rest lead to depletion of mental resources.
Recognizing early signs
We will learn how to recognize early signs of burnout in different professions – managers, teachers, doctors, social workers and employees working with customers.
Basic principles of psychological support
We will get acquainted with the first steps in working with people who are experiencing severe stress and emotional exhaustion.
level 2
Practical methods for working with professional burnout
Duration: 4 days (Saturday-Sunday form)
The second level builds on the basic knowledge and introduces practical methods for working with people in a state of burnout.
Main topics
Psychological assessment of burnout
We will work on methods for assessing the level of stress, emotional exhaustion and loss of motivation.
Working with mental models
We will examine how excessive responsibility, perfectionism and feelings of guilt lead to chronic stress.
We will practice methods for changing thought patterns that maintain the state of burnout.
Regulation of the nervous system
We will learn techniques for reducing tension and restoring mental balance.
Working with emotional exhaustion
We will consider methods for restoring internal resources and building healthy psychological boundaries.
Practical demonstrations
We will observe demonstrations of consultations and discuss approaches to working with different types of clients.
level 3
Master level – practical training
Duration: 2 months (weekend form)
Total: 8 modules
The third level is entirely practical and is aimed at in-depth mastery of methods for working with professional burnout.
Each module includes demonstrations, practical work and supervision.
Module 1 – In-depth assessment of burnout
We will work on a comprehensive assessment of the client’s condition and will consider the different types of professional burnout.
Module 2 – Working with Chronic Control and Overresponsibility
We will examine the psychological model of the overresponsible person and work on changing beliefs related to excessive control and the inability to rest.
Module 3 – Restoring the Nervous System
We will practice techniques for reducing tension and restoring mental balance.
Module 4 – Working with Emotional Exhaustion
We will examine how prolonged care for others leads to the depletion of emotional resources and we will work on methods for restoring internal energy.
Module 5 – Working with Cognitive Overload
We will learn how to support people who experience severe mental fatigue and difficulty concentrating.
Module 6 – Restoring Professional Identity
We will work on building a new attitude towards work, meaning and personal boundaries.
Module 7 – Building a Recovery Plan
We will learn how to create long-term recovery and resilience strategies.
Module 8 – Supervision of real cases
In the last module, participants will present real cases from their practice.
We will work on case analysis, discuss difficulties and receive feedback to improve therapeutic work.
Learning outcomes
After completing the program, participants will be able to:
recognize the different forms of professional burnout
conduct a psychological assessment of the level of stress and emotional exhaustion
use effective methods for restoring mental resources
support clients in building healthy boundaries and a sustainable way of working
work confidently with people experiencing chronic stress and burnout.
