Introduction of the Training program
Enhancing Staff Capacity in Educational Organizations
The WP3A3 Training Program: “How to Increase the Capacity of Staff in Educational Organizations”, is an innovative resource crafted specifically for educational professionals – including teachers, trainers, school counselors, psychologists, and other staff, who are integral to creating positive and resilient learning environments. Developed through the collaborative efforts of experts from Bulgaria, Poland, and Cyprus under the 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000085347 project “Healthy at School: Supporting the Well-Being and Mental Health of Students and Teachers” (funded by Erasmus+), the program aims to elevate the competencies and motivation of educational staff through a structured approach to professional and personal growth.
This comprehensive Training Program builds on two foundational project activities: WP3A1, an in-depth needs assessment of educational staff, and WP3A2, a strategic plan for personalized professional development. Together, these activities provide the framework for the WP3A3 program, which introduces targeted, practical training modules.
Staff members are empowered to enhance their skills in three core areas:
- Personal Development – Exploring individual growth, self-motivation, and the potential for overcoming personal and professional challenges.
- Professional Development – Addressing professional resilience, role clarity, and strategies to combat burnout.
- Career Advancement & EU Project Participation – Supporting staff involvement in international networks like Erasmus+ and creating pathways for career growth.
Conducted across Bulgaria, Poland, and Cyprus, these motivational trainings were led by seasoned experts, with participants providing valuable feedback to continually improve the program’s implementation and effectiveness. As a unique resource, WP3A3 addresses a gap in existing training programs, especially for educators who have recently faced new challenges with remote and online learning. This Training Program serves as a guide for fostering continuous development, inclusion, and innovation in education through practical knowledge and essential skills.
